
Katharine Miles, LCSW. CTP-E
Take Your Time Counseling’s Founder. Katharine opened this practice in the fall of 2022 after a near decade of practice with children, families, school boards and adult clients. A former elementary classroom teacher, Katharine applies evidence-based practices and psychoeducation surrounding mental health needs and strategies to benefit her clients. Katharine is a STARR Certified Trauma Provider in Education and Clinical work. She has hosted professional development workshops for teachers and school administration in areas such as; the impact of trauma on education and brain development, recognizing and reporting the signs of child abuse and neglect, and biblio-study groups for those in the counseling profession on current literature in the field and use of social emotional learning strategies in the classroom and beyond. Katharine also has a special interest in working with children and families experiencing stress due to relocations abroad. An expat herself, Katharine has lived in 3 countries in the last 5 years and has a unique perspective and understanding of the transitions effecting adults and children when relocating for life and work. Katharine is available to work as a therapist for clients in, LA, OH, and PA and as a coach for others. Katharine also provides speaking engagements and trainings for parents, caretakers, and teachers looking to embrace Trauma Informed principles, classroom organization, and Learning Difference strategic interventions.
Elize Levy, LCSW-BACS
Elize Levy, LCSW-BACS is currently accepting LMSW Louisiana social workers seeking supervision, on a sliding payment scale. Elize is available in person in the Baton Rouge area, and online throughout the rest of the state for both group, and individual supervision. After completing her Master’s Degree in 2014 at Tulane University, Elize honed her expertise working within the Hospice Care system as well as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit supporting families during the most challenging of times. Elize also has a background working within the Board of Education system and as a children’s Mental Health Provider and crisis counselor. Elize is looking forward to welcoming supervisees from all fields of social work, with priority given to those already working within the medical model, or those who have desire to work within the hospital systems. Supervisees will find Elize’s style to be warm and supportive, while helping maintain and organize the many facets of paperwork required by LABSWE, that can overwhelm even the most expert social worker. Elize’s welcoming personality, openness to discussion of personal experiences, and vast understanding of the ethical issues facing today’s social workers make her an excellent choice of supervisor and mentor.


Caroline Harrington, M.Ed
Caroline Harrington, M.Ed, employs a holistic approach to help others discover their academic and career strengths. She has over a decade of experience supporting a diverse group of people in higher education settings. Her educational counseling techniques vary depending upon individual needs, however, she believes intentional goal setting is the foundation for personal success. She specializes in working with beginning and mid-level professionals, adults returning to or beginning their higher education journey at a nontraditional age, learning how to overcome academic barriers, and how to cultivate joy in the process.
